Amami-onsen Nanten-en

Surround by the lush natural beauty of a hectare-sized garden, visitors can enjoy seasonal Japanese cuisine and natural hot springs during their stay. The Kataoka Office of Kingo Tatsuno was responsible for the architecture of this building. It designed many buildings typical of modern Japan, including Tokyo Station and the head office of the Bank of Japan. This building is one of the few existing Japanese-style buildings designed by Tatsuno. In 2003, it became a Regiatered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.
