Here's how to use transportations in Kawachinagano and how to buy tickets and get on.
Please choose from the menu; Train, Bus or Taxi.
1. Check a timetable at a bus stop for your destination and confirm the departure time.
2. Check the destination at the display at the front of the bus above the windshield.
3. Get on a bus from the entrance in the middle of the bus.
In some areas or during some hours,
you are requested to get on the bus from the front door and to pay the fare in advance.
When using cash, coupon tickets or paper tickets
Pick up a numbered ticket at the numbered ticket machine next to the entrance.
Pay the fare when getting off the bus.
A numbered ticket proves the bus stop you get on.
If you don't have a numbered ticket you may be requested to pay the fare from the initial bus stop.
When using electronic card
Put a card through the card reader next to the entrance.
Put a card upward from the bottom of the machine.
Electronic cards are available on the bus.

4. When on board
Sit down on a seat or hold onto a hand pole or a hand strap.
Smoking is prohibited on board all day.
Please refrain from talking on a cell phone as it makes other passengers uncomfortable.
Moving around on the bus while driving is very dangerous. You should change money or switch seats while the bus is stopped.
About Priority Seat
Please give seat to a person with an infant, the pregnant, the elderly, the physically challenged, etc.
Customers using a wheelchair
In the car, we will fix the wheelchair to the floor for safety. In case the bus doesn’t have a fixing device, you might need to get on the bus with your wheelchair folded. We appreciate your understanding.
Customers using the stroller
Please get on the bus and fold your stroller.
5. When the destination is shown above the fare board, press the get-off button and confirm the fare.

The fare under the number of your numbered ticket is your fare.
The fare shown on the board is for an adult.
Elementary school children's fare is a half of the fare. (It is rounded up to the 10 yen unit.)
About Changing Money
Use the changing machine next to the driver's seat.
You can change 1,000-yen bill, 500 yen, 100 yen and 50 yen.
Changing during driving is dangerous. Use the machine while parked.
The bills higher than 2,000 yen can not be changed on board. Please change those bills before getting on a bus.
6. When the bus reaches the destination, move forward to the fare box after the bus has completely stopped.

When paying with cash or a coupon ticket.
Put money or a coupon ticket in the fare box together with your numbered ticket.
When using an electronic card.
Put your card through the card reader.
The fare is calculated automatically and deducted from the card.

When using a paper ticket.
Put your numbered ticket in the fare box and show clearly the driver your paper ticket with the written side up.
7. Get off the bus from the front door.
